Anti-Magic Square

The Magic Square… Reinvented! A mind-blowing prediction where nothing adds up, until it does!

Anti-Magic Square

A spectator is shown a square with loads of different numbers, 16 in total. The spectator discusses the classic magic square where things add up on the horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines.

However, not with the anti-magic square. Here, none of the lines add up at all, as demonstrated. The spectator is asked to pick a random anti-magic square from the selection and then fold it twice.

Once they have done that, they are handed a single hole punch. This will be used to punch through a random set of numbers.

This is done until only one corner remains and when unfolded, there are 4 different random numbers that are displayed on the piece of paper.

Those numbers are added up, which total 20.

A deck of cards is shown and dealt down to the 20th card.

It is the 5 of Clubs.

A prediction that has been on display the whole time is then removed, which shows a blank card.

Everyone laughs as you pulled it out the wrong way.

You then turn it over and it matches the 5 of Clubs.

For the finally, you state that the first prediction (blank) is actually the strongest, as you turn over the rest of the deck to show completely blank faces.

Everything is completely examinable!
